Spiked Grasses for Variety in Your Garden

Uncinia ‘Everflame’ is a striking red evergreen grass that grows up to half a metre tall. The leaves are spiked and the plant produces brown flowers in the summer. On closer inspection it is easier to see that the plant has variegated leaves of bronze and red. It is low maintenance and performs well in beds, borders, rock gardens and containers.

Planting Tip

Uncinia ‘Everflame’ would look striking as a border plant around your garden or against a light coloured stone rock garden alongside other rock garden favourites such as aubrieta, salvia and primrose.
